An Oregon Thanksgiving 2008

In Government Camp, at the base of Mt.
Hood, Patrice and John have a "cabin" that they graciously shared with those of us that could make it and we celebrated Thanksgiving together...all 20 of us.  We secretly hoped for 4 feet of snow, like they got in 2006, but this year all we got were a few spectacular days and a couple misty, wet ones.
Still, a week of overeating and laying around too much was just what we needed.  For some odd reason we never got a picture of ALL of us!  Where's Grandpa Gerald when we need him!!

gorgeous pictures of that mountain in the background. I'm assuming it's Mt. St. Helens? I love how the clouds are encircled about it. I'm so glad your family had a very relaxing enjoyable week.
